Decks and Patio Covers
Decks and patio covers are extremely popular in San Diego because our weather allows us to enjoy them year round.
Your options are plentiful when it comes to decks and patio covers. Decks can be constructed of various materials, the most common being different types of natural wood and composite materials. They can be almost any shape, size or color, single level or multi-level, built in the back of your home or the front, or even on your rooftop.
Patio covers also come in various materials and can be almost any shape, size and color. Patio covers provide protection from the outside elements such as sun and rain, but the amount of protection can vary. Solid patio covers offer the most protection while slatted patio covers allow some sun to shine through.
Each material has its advantages and disadvantages. Natural wood tends to be less expensive, but requires substantial maintenance. Composite materials are extremely durable and require very little maintenance, but they are more expensive.
